so cts are over. which is good. and results are coming back slowly. which is good too. (at least its not coming back quickly, that would be bad.)

pretty dismal so far. 25/50 for sea history. and 10/20 for econs mcq. and not too high hopes for the rest of the papers. but strangely enough, its the first time i have high hopes for lit.

however. why should i dwell on that when the biggest event of the year is barely a day away? its italy vs france and here's what i think will happen...

general prediction: italy to win in normal time by 1/2 goals.

more detailed and possibly rather bullshit prediction:
the game will get off to a cagey start with both sides not daring to commit more men upfront. however, italy will profit from a corner/free kick which will be headed in by some tall italian. france will respond by pouring men forward. henry will receive a good through-ball from zidane/vieira and will fall in the box after being tripped by an italian defender (likely to be materrazzi), but the referee will not give the penalty, leaving henry to whine on the turf. in the second half, italy will defend desperately, cannavaro being at his imperious best once again to thwart france's attacks time and again, and when france realise that time is running out, they will send plenty of men forward, leaving holes at the back, which will allow pirlo to pick out a teammate to roam forward unchallenged and score (much like the second goals against the czech republic and germany)

anyway i hope italy win, but i wud not be pissed if the french won. both teams deserve to be in here, and they do not have bastards like cristiano ronaldo, so that's good.

oh and my friend invited me to some basketball court in yew tee to play soccer with his friends tmr. he describes them as being physical. "like to use elbow" and "xiao lang" phrases used to describe them. i hope i dun regret agreeing to go down tmr. keeping my fingers crossed..
